James 1:23-25

For if any be a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he is being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Jesus, and men of God, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, has left us such a wonderful mirror (THE WORD) in which to look to find ourselves. The blueprint of our existence rests in the scriptures. The DNA of our spirit is intertwined through Spirit-inspired letters. Remember who you are. Remember who you are. YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made. YOU are the sure handiwork of God. YOU are made in the image and likeness of God our Father. YOU are MORE than a conqueror. YOU have been given the power to get wealth. YOU walk by faith and not by sight. YOU will be the one to look down on satan and say, “were you the one?” YOU have been given the peace that surpasses all understanding from the Prince of Peace. YOU stand firm, having done all to stand, you stand. YOU are steadfast and unmovable. YOU walk in love. YOU exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. YOU are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! YOU hear the voice of the Good Shepard and a stranger’s voice you will not follow. YOUR name is written in the lamb’s book of Life!

There is a plan for YOU, with hope, to bring you to an expected end. And the Good work that has been started in YOU, yes YOU, the Father is faithful to complete.

Be encouraged man and woman of God! We are doers of the Word – and that means walking in the truths that have been graciously gifted to us to strengthen us as we walk through this life. You are absolutely all that God says you are, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Let us not be like a man, beholding his natural face in a glass. For he beholds himself, and then IMMEDIATELY he goes his way and forgets what MANNER of man he is. Remember the Word spoken over you, even when you walk away from the Bible after your daily devotional. The workplace, the familial duties, church, ministry, finances, relationships, nor people, should not have access to shift your thoughts on who you are.

Be a doer of the Word, concerning YOU, and you will be blessed in your deeds!
